2023 Hall of Fame Inductee Mike Bell!

At the start of this season, the MOIHA family lost a vital member with the sudden passing of Commissioner Mike Bell.  Mike held a critical role in the Missouri Inline Hockey Association, leading and growing it for the past 16 years.  Mike started his journey in MOIHA as a referee in 2006, and made his way up to the commissioner role in 2008. Through his leadership and love for the sport, he expanded the league in immeasurable ways, making it what it is today.

Each and every program manager, coach, player, referee, and fan who got a chance to interact with him can tell you about his passion and dedication to creating an outstanding league and experience for each and every one of us. His consistent leadership, integrity and natural ability to bring people together for the betterment of the league will sorely be missed by all of us.

MOIHA honors Mike Bell as the stand-alone member of the MOIHA Hall of Fame class of 2023.

Family members in attendance to accept his Hall of Fame plaque were Angie Bell, Deanna Bell Streit, Jim Streit, and Gerald Hardcastle. Angie, we cannot thank you enough for sharing this incredible man with us and the hockey community. We want you to know that his passion, dedication and vision will forever be a part of the Missouri Inline Hockey Association.
